Improving the design and calculating the main parameters of a conical slurry classifier

The article describes the improved design of a screw classifier. The essence of the problem and the importance of raw slurry classification are demonstrated. The rational design and engineering parameters for the classifier are given. Analytical expressions for calculating the flow resistance of the classifier, the equivalent particle diameter, the shares of liquid and solid phases of the slurry are provided. An example of calculated technological parameters of the screw classifier is offered
