Outsourcing trends in the cement industry

The data from the survey conducted in December 2016 by the Danish company FLSmidth Operation & Maintenance of approximately 100 cement plants around the world were examined. The purpose was to identify the preferences of those surveyed for outsourcing management of part of the process chain, separate process stages or the whole production, including quarry work. The potential of the company to provide services for managing process stages at the plant, including quarry operations, management and training of the staff, managing the inventory and the spare parts stored in the factory warehouse are also described.
