Influence of production parameters on the resistance of concrete road pavements to frost and the action of anti-icing salts

Manufacturing of concrete pavements is a complex construction work, which is profitable only if the pavements have a long service life with low maintenance costs. The purpose of this study was to register deviations of various parameters from the permissible values at all stages of concrete manufacture and to clearly determine their effect on frost resistance and resistance to the action of de-icing salts. At the same time, factors that affect both the quality of concrete and the performance of work are investigated.
