Specifics of the effect of carbon black with different chemical nature of the surface on hydration of tricalcium silicate at an early stage
The paper presents the results of studies of the physical and chemical properties of the three types of carbon black, as well as the results of the study of their effect on the early hydration of tricalcium silicate using isothermal calorimetry. It was established that carbon black, whose surface is hydrophilic and rich in oxygen-containing functional polar groups, increases the rate and extent of hydration of tricalcium silicate.Author: A.M.
