Ball mill optimization using the smartest fill-level control.

KIMA Echtzeitsysteme (Germany) decided almost 20 years back to develop the fill-level measurement called SmartFillTM which is based on structure born sound. The highly reproducible and stabile signals which give the filling of chamber 1 and chamber 2 in a 2 compartment mill separately offer high-level control systems a fundamental new information. KIMA Echtzeitsysteme uses the optimal filling of the mill as well as main control parameter in the own advanced control system MillMasterTM. The grinding becomes very stable, and the electrical power consumption is reduced significantly – guaranteed.
