Experience of obtaining an integrated environmental permit by AO Iskitimcement

In 2019, one of the largest manufacturers of cement in Siberia, AO Iskitimcement was included in the list of companies that were the first in the country to receive the integrated environmental permit (IEP). The company, which turned 85 in October 2019, is constantly running large-scale investment programs, with increased attention paid to projects related to environmental protection. As part of the IEP, a program for improving environmental performance (PIEP) was developed, aimed at the phased achievement of technological standards, standards for permissible emissions and the creation of an automated control system of pollutant emissions. The PIEP will take 7 years. It requires a major investment. Meeting its costs is provided for by the long-term plan for the development of the company, some of the projects are already under implementation.
