Paving concrete containing ground granulated blast furnace slag
The effectiveness of using ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) to replace 40 % cement in the composition of pavement concrete is shown, together with a polymer chemical additive and a mineral additive activated by polycarboxylate polymers. The properties of the newly developed concrete, demonstrated on specially constructed experimental sections of the road, suggest its suitability for the manufacture of road surfaces.Author: R.R.
