Cement & clinker flows from the Med Rim: overview of 2019 and first 2020 quarter evolution

The paper provides data on cement and clinker export from the Mediterranean region whereby about 90% belongs to the ten leading exporting countries (Turkey, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Croatia and Albania). In 2019 they exported 43.6 million tons of cement and clinker, 30% higher than in 2015. Most of the cement is exported to Europe and America, while the main clinker importers are African countries.
