In-line particle size analysis of cement for the automated control of the grinding system separator operation in a closed cycle, implementation experience

ITECA SOCADEI installed 2 in-line particle size analyzers at South-Urals Mining and Processing company (SUMPC) in Novotroitsk. It was the first experience for the company of in-line particle size analysis implementation in Russia. ITECA SOCADEI expanded the capabilities of the standard particle size meter with additional features, such as external manual sample analysis or averaged cement sample selection for the laboratory based on specifications from SUMPC specialists. SUMPC managed to not only get the results of particle size analysis for cement, but also to fully automate separators of both mills based on the data continuously feeding from particle sizers.
