A smart solution for erection in inaccessible areas

The article describes the construction of an extended conveyor belt by Bedeschi (Italy) required to feed raw materials from the quarry to the new cement plant of LafargeHolcim holding in Morocco. The 4.8 km long conveyor line partly runs through mountainous and desert terrain. Bedeschi specialists have found ways to take the challenge by applying new design and process ways. It ensured the project's success in the desired timeframe, despite the difficult terrain, severe weather conditions and strict requirements regarding safety and environmental protection standards.
