Optimization of energy efficiency of the lining for ball tube mills

The state and trends of development of technology and techniques for material grinding in ball tube mills are considered. An opportunity to adjust the fineness of grinding and the specific material consumption by changing the transverse and longitudinal profile of the lining of the inner surface of the first chamber of the ball tube mill is shown. The results of the research to determine the most rational layout of lining both in the transversal and longitudinal sections of the mill shell are presented. The impact of the lining profile on the mode of grinding and, in general, on the energy performance of the mill is established.
