The Pakistani company Cherat Cement Co. Limited has approved the installation of a 25 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) along with an additional 5.4 MW solar power plant at the company’s factory site in Nowshera, Pakistan.

HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim, launched a new large-scale solar power plant at its Milaki cement plant in Evia, Greece, following the commissioning of a similar installation at its Volos plant earlier in May.
