The construction material manufacturer Salonit Anhovo, which is majority owned by the Austrian company Wietersdorfer Alpacem, is taking over the name of its owner. As the shareholders agreed at general meeting, the company will now be called Alpacem Cement Slovenia.
The President of Zimbabwe Emmerson Mnangagwa commissioned a new million dollar plant at Khaya Cement Limited (formerly Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe) amid calls for the company to adopt exports-led growth strategy.
