Danish cement manufacturer Aalborg Portland has officially submitted a bid for the development of carbon capture and storage Technologies (CCS) by the Danish Energy Agency.

Cement and building materials manufacturer Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd has started work on a project to build a second clinker production line at the Mambong cement plant. Investments in the project amounted to 673 million MYR (Malaysian ringgit).
