A new compressor has been put into operation in the Grinding shop of TimlyuyCement

The modernization of the compressor department of the Grinding shop, which started at TimlyuyCement (Sibcem Holding) about ten years ago, was continued in 2022. The division has installed a new compressor with a capacity of 15 thousand cubic meters of compressed air per hour. It replaced two analogues produced by the GDR, which were put into operation back in the 1980s.

 In mid-July, the employees of TimlyuyCement dismantled the old equipment, then the specialists of the contracting organization joined the project. They prepared a platform for the transfer of one of the working compressors and for the assembly of a new one, after installing a modern device, they installed a cooling system, a suction manifold and a compressed air pipeline, carried out electrical work. Representatives of the manufacturing company were responsible for commissioning and comprehensive testing of the compressor. The new equipment was put into operation in early December.

Earlier, in 2014 and 2018, two outdated piston compressors were replaced at the plant, the capacity of each of which was 10 thousand cubic meters of compressed air per hour.
