Angarskcement (a subsidiary of Sibcem Holding) sums up the results of the first half of the year. In the period from January to June 2023, the plant produced 316.7 thou. tonnes of cement - 8.7% less than in the six months of 2022.
In the first half of 2023 236.9 thou. tonnes of CEM I 42.5N Portland cement were produced, which corresponds to the level of the first half of last year. The production volume of CEM II/A-G 32.5B Portland cement amounted to 36.1 thou. tonnes. 29.3 thou. tonnes of CEM 0 42.5N Non-additive Portland cement were produced. The production volume of CEM I 42.5N AP cement, used for the production of concrete for the aerodrome pavement, was 8,9 thou. tonnes – 56% more than in the same period last year.
177.5 thou. tonnes of cement were shipped to the customers by rail – 2.7% more than in the six months of last year. 137.5 thou. tonnes of cement were shipped by road. 41.5 thou. tonnes were shipped by company’s own cement trucks (+ 3.8%).
148.7 thou. tonnes of products were sold in bulk. The volume of packed cement amounted to 137.1 thou. tonnes – 6.2% more than in the first half of 2022.
Vladimir Afanasin, Managing Director of Angarskcement, said "Despite the fact that overall production and sales volumes have decreased slightly, the plant continues to work steadily."
