Asia Cement Plant Expands Product Range With 40kg Bags

AsiaCement in Penza region introduced 40kg bags of CEM I 42.5N, CEM II/A-S 42.5N and CEM II/A-S 32.5N. Wholesale customers will have it delivered by road and rail in 1.6-ton pallets. The packaging of the bags is made of multilayer micro-creased paper with a density of 80 grams per m2, which protects the contents from the effects of aggressive environmental factors.

Since April 2019, Asia Cement’s packaging uses new design with corporate colors with a cement brand index corresponding to Soviet GOST 10178-85. The new packaging allows for bags weighing 25 kg, 40 kg, and 50 kg. Since March 2019, the plant has new CEO — Andrei Grishin. He had experience working as a director of a LafargeHolcim Group plant in Voskresensk.

Asia Cement is a dry method cement plant with a capacity of about 2 million tpa. It was commissioned five years ago. A permanent supply of bulk cement at the enterprise is provided by six silos with a total capacity of 60,000 tons and two covered warehouses for storing palletized cement with a total capacity of 4,000 tons.
