In June 2024, the export rates amounted to 140.7 % compared to June last year, and in the first half of the year - 103.5 % compared to the same period of 2023.
According to Vyacheslav Golovatsky, the holding's Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Activity, all the achievements in 2024 for export sales of cement were due to logistics.
"In order to expand sales of our products to the Russian Federation, we created a very good foundation in 2023: we established a commodity distribution network "BCC- Union", which has its own cement transshipments. And when at the end of 2023 and at the beginning of 2024 there were difficulties with cement supply, our logistics came into play. We started rerouting deliveries: we launched our own trains made up of Belarusian Cement Company's own railcars. In March 2024, our first route train went to Russia, in May there were already 12 BCC route trains, and in June - 15. Our products have been delivered to transshipment centers faster, unloaded faster and delivered to our consumers faster," emphasized Vyacheslav Golovatsky.
Today, the main regions of cement exports from Belarusian Cement Company to Russia are Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Central and North-Western Federal Districts.
