Belarusian Krasnoselskstroymaterialy to Reach Capacity Utilization of 100 % by June

Krasnoselskstroymaterialy plant in the Grodno region of Belarus is set to reach its full capacity utilization by June this year. By April 2020, before the peak construction season, the plant’s capacity utilization has already reached 82 % (+ 6 % YoY). Export sales revenue in 4M2020 grew by 5 %, up to $11.9 million.

Krasnoselskstroymaterialy’s cement production volume in 4M2020 amounted to 429,000 tons, where 85,200 tons were exported. The design capacity of cement production lines at the plant is 1.6 million tpa.

All the necessary repair works were carried out in the winter, and Krasnoselskstroymaterialy is fully ready to meet the peak demand, as per General Director of the company, Alexander Veselik.

Krasnoselskstroymaterialy expects the production of cellular concrete blocks in the first six months to grow by 19 % YoY.

In January-April 2020, the company dispatched a total of 231,000 tons of this product. Export dispatches amounted to 140,000 tons. By the end of 2020, the plant expects to export a total of 402,000 tons of cellular blocks, primarily due to an increase in dispatches to Poland and Lithuania.

Krasnoselskstroymaterialy produces cement, hydrated lime, fine-grained chalk, aerated concrete blocks, and dry mixes. Krasnoselstsroimaterialy showed increase in revenue of 6 % YoY over 12M2019, making 273.6 million BYN ($111 million).
