On November 15, the National Bureau of Statistics released the national economic data for October.
In October, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 5.3 % year-on-year, down 0.1 percentage point from the previous month; it increased by 0.41 % month-on-month.
Among them, cement production in October was 174.98 million tons, down 7.9 % year on year; cement production from January to October was 1501.16 million tons, down 10.3 % year on year.
In addition, data shows that the national cement production from January to October 2023 was 168.585 million tons. Based on this calculation, the full-caliber cement production from January to October this year was 18,469 million tons less than the same period last year, a decrease of 10.96 %.
