According to the the State Statistics Committee, in H1 2024, the volume of cement production in Azerbaijan amounted to 1 million 996.9 thousand tons, which is 13.3 % more than in the same period last year.
As of July 1 2024, 85.2 thousand tons of cement products were stored in the warehouses of enterprises.
In addition, 1 million 924.4 thousand tons of cement clinker was produced in Azerbaijan during the accounting period, which is 5.6 % more than in January-June 2023.
According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan exported 336,151.18 tons of cement and cement clinker in the first half of this year, which is 9.6 % less than the same period last year.
At the same time, the value of exported products amounted to 20 million 593.2 thousand US dollars (a decline of 2.1 %).
