Cementir Reports 9M 2020 Cement Sales Volume Increase of 11.3 % YoY

Cementir reported an 11.3 % YoY increase in cement sales volume (including white cement and clinker) in 9 months of 2020, amounting to 7.7 million tons. RMC sales amounted to 3.1 million m3, indicating a 2 % YoY increase, aggregates sales amounted to 7 million tons (down by 4.1 % YoY).

The revenue of the company decreased by 1.0 % YoY, down to EUR 896.8 million. As of September 31, 2020, Cementir’s net debt stands at EUR 218.5 million, indicating a decrease of 37 % YoY and 22.2 % compared to the end of Q2 2020.

As per Cementir’s report, Q4 2020 performance could be impacted by Covid-19, but positive Q3 performance allows for projection of yearly consolidated revenues of about EUR 1.2 billion and an EBITDA of between EUR 230 and 240 million. Net financial debt is expected to reach around EUR 160 million at the end of 2020.
