CEMENTUM quarry achieved new record performance results

In September, the team at the Bolshoi Massif non-metallic materials quarry CEMENTUM in Karelia achieved record production figures for the last seven years - during the month the quarry received 279 thousand tonnes of building stone and produced 126 thousand tonnes of finished products.

The enterprise is located in the village of Novo-Steklyannoye in the Pudozhsky district, the quarry has been developed since 1985. Granite and other non-metallic materials are mined here.

Oleg Silchenko, director of the Big Array quarry:

‘’This record is an achievement of the whole staff of the quarry. This year we have upgraded crushing and sorting complexes and other equipment, and automation of production. This allowed us to prepare for the start of production of crushed stone of smaller fractions for various segments of construction, and production will start soon. We also plan to expand our fleet of lifting equipment.’
