CRH Group Sales Decline by 2% in 2020

CRH Group of companies reported results for 12 months of 2020. Group sales decreased 2 %, down to US$ 27.59 billion. EBITDA grew by 5 % by 2019, to $ 4.6 billion.

The volume of sales of products of the cement enterprises of the group increased by 1.1% compared to 2019 and amounted to $ 4.38 billion.

CRH sales in North America were down 3 % in 12M 2020 compared to 2019 and amounted to US$ 11.27 billion. Profit before finance costs was US$ 1.63 billion — 3 % less than in 2019. Sales of cement products in the region rose 2.5 %, up to US$ 1.40 billion.

Sales of the group's products in Europe decreased by 4 % YoY. Sales of cement products in the region rose 0.4 %, up to US$ 2.97 billion.

CRH manufactures and supplies building materials and solutions for large infrastructure, commercial and residential buildings. The company's enterprises operate in 31 countries in North America and Europe.
