The inauguration of a limestone crusher, the construction of a new mill and the first stone to continue the expansion of a hospital are the three projects with which Cruz Azul closes 2024 in Oaxaca.
A new limestone crushing system was launched at the Cruz Azul Oaxaca cement plant, which will allow for an increase in the processing volume of this raw material, which is essential for the manufacture of cement.
At the event and in the same industrial unit, the starting signal was given to begin the construction of mill number 15, which will directly increase the productive capacity of this plant.
Meanwhile, at the Cruz Azul Hospital facilities in the Oaxaca section, the first stone was laid as part of the remodeling of this hospital unit that offers medical services to the inhabitants and neighbors of Lagunas.
Last August, Cruz Azul announced an investment of approximately 40 million dollars in the construction of a new mill at its cement plant located in Lagunas, Oaxaca. The new infrastructure allows for increased cement production capacity per day.
At the time, the company explained that Cruz Azul's modernization and expansion plan is solid and the mill was designed with the objective of having high energy efficiency and being compatible with the environment, since it does not use water.
