According to the Republican Stock Exchange «Toshkent», Cypriot company Lamanka Enterprises bought 84.197 % of Akhangarancement shares (4,141,108 common and 106 preferred) for 557.6 billion soums. The shares of Akhangarancement plant were put up for sale at an open auction in March 2021. The shareholder was EUROCEMENT Holding AG, the parent company of the EUROCEMENT group holding.
The deal became the largest on the exchange in recent years.
Akhangarancement is one of the largest cement producers in Uzbekistan. The design capacity of the plant is 2.2 million tons of cement per year.
