EUROCEMENT acquired three land plots for limestone and clay mining

EUROCEMENT Group acquired 3 land plots for limestone and clay mining within the boundaries of the Ust-Dzhegutinsky deposit in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

The total area of the acquired lands is 10.1 hectares. Work on the limestone and clay mining at the new sites will begin in June this year.

These plots will provide the company with a supply of clay for Kavkazcement (part of EUROCEMENT Group) for 3 years. The volume for production will be 1,319 thousand tons.  

In February, it is also planned to purchase six more plots of land within the boundaries of the mining allotment, with a total area of 20 hectares, with an average capacity of 10 meters, a volume of 3,520 thousand tons of clay will be available for mining. As a result, this will provide the company with a supply of clay for 10 years.

Per day, the production rate of the quarry is from 1 to 2 thousand tons of raw materials, per month from 27 thousand tons to 50 thousand tons, per year from 370 thousand tons to 500 thousand tons, depending on the needs of the plant. The clay on the acquired plots has high characteristics for the production of high-quality products.
