Under a new agreement, FLSmidth is to deliver a large efficiency upgrade at Arabian Cement Company’s site in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The order includes new DDX top cyclones, a quenching chamber and an ABC™ Cooler Inlet.
The goal of the project is to reduce fuel and energy consumption and thereby increase production efficiency. In 2008 FLSmidth was the supplier of equipment for the kiln line modernized today at the Rabigh plant.
Installation and commissioning is expected to be during Q4 of 2021.
