Freight One showed an increase in loading in open wagons by 6% for 9 months of 2021 to 94 million tons, compared to the same period last year. The volume of transportation of imports in all types of rolling stock doubled, to 2.4 million tons, transit increased by 36%, to 137.6 thousand tons. The company is focused on developing promising business areas and a client portfolio.
Cement handling in hoppers increased by 3% to 5.1 million tons due to improved customer service. For example, thanks to increased support for cargo operations and dispatch control, Freight One expanded cooperation with the GAZMETALLPROEKT Group.
The volume of import shipments has doubled, to 2.4 million tons. The increase in indicators was facilitated by increased demand in the market and an increase in the cost of such items as ferrous metals, timber cargo, chemicals and soda, coal products. The company has expanded the range of loading, offered service solutions for customers and entered into new contracts.

Development of services and a targeted approach to solving business problems of partners have expanded Freight One's client portfolio. In particular, the company signed several service contracts, including metallurgical holding Novostal-M, United Metallurgical Company, and Aleiskzernoproduct. The company started delivering mineral powder and lime. Developed a comprehensive service program for the Vyksa Steel Works (VMZ, part of the United Metallurgical Company, OMK). Long-term cooperation guarantees customers a rhythmic supply of rolling stock in the required volume, increases the efficiency of operating wagons.

Since April, Freight One, together with freight forwarding companies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, has been delivering containers on new 80-foot platforms in the international transit direction. Since June - open top containers on converted 40-foot platforms from the Trans-Baikal Territory to China. In July, the dispatch of express container trains started from Yekaterinburg to St. Petersburg. In August, the company expanded the geography of transportation - it launched accelerated container trains from the Urals to the Far East.

- Freight One car turnover for 9 months of 2021 accelerated by 2%, to 14.86 days. The empty run ratio has improved by 7% compared to January-September 2020, to 0.57 days.

- The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the business activity of many industrial enterprises transporting their goods by rail. Nevertheless, industrial production is now recovering, followed by an increase in loading volumes.
Despite high demand for rolling stock, we strive to provide our partners with cars in the required volume and on time. First of all, we give priority to requests from service clients with whom we are linked by long-term cooperation.
For more efficient management in the face of infrastructure constraints and local fleet shortages, we are actively using our own digital products. The company is launching new services that allow to build optimal routes for the movement of wagons by analyzing a huge amount of data. The introduction of digital products and their integration with other IT solutions increases the speed of decision-making within the Freight One and increases the accuracy of wagon delivery.
