HeidelbergCement summed up results of the first quarter of 202 with top results in key figures. Revenue of the holding increased by 1 %, to 3.958 million euros. RCOBD (result of current operations excluding depreciation and amortization) increased by 33 % (to 538 million euros). Based on calculations performed without taking into account changes in volume of asset consolidation and foreign exchange rates, revenue increased by 4%, and RCOBD - by 38%.
The volume of cement sales in first quarter of 2021 increased by 2 %, to 28,4 Mt; aggregates sales volume increased by 2 %, to 61,3 Mt; while ready-mixed concrete sales volume – by 1 %, to 10,8 million m3.
