HeidelbergCement has signed an agreement to sell its aggregates business and two ready-mixed concrete plants in Greece

HeidelbergCement has signed an agreement to sell its aggregates business in Mandra and two ready-mixed concrete plants in Gerakas and Aspropyrgos placed in the Attica region of Greece to LafargeHolcim group.

HeidelbergCement will continue the cement production through its subsidiary Halyps Cement. This is LafargeHolcim’s fifth bolt-on acquisition in 2021.

HeidelbergCement is one of the world’s largest building materials companies. With the takeover of the Italian cement producer Italcementi, HeidelbergCement became one of the leaders in aggregates production, ready-mixed concrete and in cement. In the HeidelbergCement Group, around 53,000 employees work at more than 3,000 production sites in more than 50 countries on five continents.

LafargeHolcim is one of the world's largest building materials companies.
