The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) has approved a new national standard of the Russian Federation GOST R 59628-2021 “Public automobile roads. Rigid pavement design. Typical Structures", which was developed by the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) with the participation of the Association of Concrete Roads. The standard was introduced for the first time.
Technical standard GOST R 59628-2021 establishes requirements for rigid road pavements in the development of design documentation for construction, reconstruction and overhaul. It will apply to rigid road pavements with monolithic concrete pavement, as well as asphalt pavement on a rigid foundation.
