Kazakhstan Lifts Import Restrictions on Certain Construction Materials

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Construction has lifted restrictions on imports of certain types of construction materials from countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The relevant Order No. 499 was adopted on 5 October 2026, repealing the previous orders No. 237 of 15 May and No. 386 of 3 August.

As of 17 October 2026, import restrictions have been lifted on cement, paving stones, natural stone paving slabs, and processed stone used for monuments and construction.
