In early October 2026, United Cement Group (UCG) completed the acquisition of a 100 % stake in Bukhtarma Cement Company LLP in Kazakhstan.
The transaction forms part of UCG’s long-term strategy to expand its production capacity in Kazakhstan, introduce modern technologies and supply the domestic market with high-quality construction materials.
The next stage of the plant’s development will involve the construction of a new dry-process production line with a capacity of 3,000 tonnes of clinker per day. The project aims to improve the plant’s energy and operational efficiency while laying the groundwork for further increases in cement output.
The acquisition strengthens UCG’s presence in Kazakhstan and expands its capacity to supply the country’s construction projects.
