On 20 October, during a visit by a Bashkortostan delegation to Uzbekistan, regional Head Radiy Khabirov held talks with Josef Lasselsberger, founder of Lasselsberger Group.
“We are negotiating with Josef Lasselsberger on the construction of another facility in our republic, focusing on dry building mixes, paints and related products. We plan to move towards drafting an agreement soon,” Radiy Khabirov told journalists.
One of Lasselsberger Group’s production sites is located in the Abzelilovsky District of Bashkortostan. The Cemix white cement plant was officially opened on 6 August 2021. The event was covered in Cement and Its Applications magazine.
During the visit, Radiy Khabirov, Josef Lasselsberger and Tashkent Region Governor Zoyir Mirzayev toured the Uzbek branch of Cemix, inspecting its production equipment and processes, laboratory, raw material resources and engineering infrastructure.
