The first production line is being repaired at the Teploozersk Cement Plant. During the planned works, the chain heat exchanger is being modernized, the kiln shell and the support station bandage are partially replaced.
"Kiln №1 was stopped in December, first we removed the old lining, and in January we started repair work directly. We have already replaced the recuperator shell and partially replaced the housing - we have updated 12 meters, we will also change the bandage on the support of the support station №5," said Anton Kuzminov, chief mechanic of Teploozersky Cement Plant.
In addition, during the repair work, the carpet heat exchanger is replaced with free-hanging circuits, which will improve heat exchange in the furnace and optimize fuel consumption. A similar modernization was carried out at the end of last year on the second production line of the plant.
By the end of February, the company plans to complete the repair of equipment, after which work will begin on the lining of kiln №1. As noted at the Teploozersky Cement, the method of lining into a ring will be applied. Such laying of the refractory increases the durability of the lining and increases the working life of the cement kiln without stopping for repairs.
