LafargeHolcim sums up results of the first quarter of 2021

International holding LafargeHolcim has summed up results of the first quarter of 2021, with high results being achieved in key indicators. Revenue of the holding increased by 1.3% (to 5362 million Swiss francs), EBIT (profit before interest and taxes) - by 101.7% (to 528 million Swiss francs). Based on the results of calculations performed without taking into account changes in volume of asset consolidation, revenue increased by 7.4%, and EBIT increased by 130.7%.

In the first quarter of 2021, the volume of cement sales by plants of the holding increased by 5.5%, to 47.3 Mt; ready-mixed concrete - by 2.7%, to 2.7 million m3; aggregate sales declined by 1.1% to 48.5 Mt.
