Ministry of Construction of Russia Updated Classifier of Construction Information

The Ministry of Construction of Russia has updated the classifier of construction information (CCI). The updates affected all the classification tables that make up the information CCI system, according to Dmitry Volkov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation. The work was carried out taking into account the proposals prepared by experts such as those from the Main Department of State Expertise.

In the process of updating CCI, more than 500 classes were corrected, in which the subclass codes, types, names, sources, notes, HESN codes, CСR codes (Classifier of Construction Resources), definitions and examples were changed. CCI was supplemented with more than 70 new elements, namely: codes of subclasses, types, compound codes, sources, names and codes of CCR were added. Also, more than 100 elements were excluded from the CCI, along with technical inaccuracies, invalid or incorrect classes and false information characterizing them.

“Updated versions of 21 classification tables, with a total of over 700 additions and changes, were uploaded into CCI system by the specialists of the federal standardization center. First of all, such changes are associated with a number of regulatory and technical documents receiving updates on January 1, 2021”, explained Dmitry Volkov.

According to the approved legal acts, CCI is part of the GISOGD [rus] (State information system for urban planning activities of the Russian Federation). Prior to the launch of GISOGD, scheduled for 2022, the classifier (CCI) was posted as an open information resource on the federal standardization center (FAU FCS) website.

For the year 2021, it is planned to improve the classifier in cooperation with companies that have expressed their desire to take part in its approbation.
