Mordovcement (part of the CEMROS Group) has completed experiments on the introduction of AI-based digital assistant and digital diagnostics system for equipment. The confirmed economic effect amounted to more than 80 million rubles.
The digital assistant of cement mills analyzes more than 30 parameters of equipment performance in real time. The program is based on archived data of the mill operation: the amount of grits, fresh feed quantity, separator speed, cement grinding fineness.
According to the results of the experiment on semi-wet cement production the implementation of the assistant has confirmed its efficiency. The performance of cement mill No. 18 increased on average by 10 t/hour for all cement types, while the quality and strength characteristics remained within the technological specifications.
Following the trends of digitalization, the company is moving towards the status of a “digital plant”, creating modern workplaces where new generation specialists work with digital platforms and data analysis systems.
For example, Mordovcement has additionally implemented a system of automated diagnostics of industrial equipment. It processes telemetry in real time using 20 diagnostic guidelines that cover the processes of raw material grinding, clinker burning and cement grinding for dry and semi-dry processes. The universal templates allow them to be used for any equipment of the same type.
“Digital transformation allows us to optimize the use of resources and create a new corporate culture. The result is increased competitiveness of the plant and a noticeable increase in its efficiency,” said Sergey Marachkov, General Director of Mordovcement.
