Norm Cement to construct new concrete plants in Azerbaijan

The foundation for two new concrete plants owned by Norm OJSC has been laid in the Balakhani settlement. These plants are scheduled to begin production in April 2025.

Each plant, with a production capacity of 120 m³ of concrete per hour, will be equipped with modern machinery and the latest technology to produce ready-mix concrete efficiently. Additionally, the company plans to construct a third concrete plant in the Karabakh region, which will also have a production capacity of 120 m³ per hour. In total, approximately 80 employees will work across these enterprises.

The commissioning of these concrete plants will provide construction companies with a stable and timely supply of high-quality concrete, supporting both major state procurement projects and private construction initiatives.

Norm Concrete plants will also be equipped with specialized recycling technology to enhance sustainability. This system will allow for the recycling of excess concrete generated during production, the washing of concrete trucks, and construction site operations. By reusing these materials in concrete production, the company aims to optimize resource efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Since entering the market, Norm OJSC has established itself as a leading industrial enterprise in the country. Its commercial strategy has focused on developing new business areas within the construction sector and producing high-quality, safe materials for the industry. Following its success in manufacturing high-standard cement, the company’s expansion into ready-mix concrete production will further strengthen its ability to ensure quality control in construction projects.
