According to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), the period for considering applications for the purchase of Eurocement Group, Eurobeton and Rostopenergo has been extended by 2 months. To finalize the decision, FAS needs to acquire additional information from applicants, including considering and checking the fact that some applicants in the auction already own companies in the cement industry.
Eurocement Group is amongst the top ten largest cement producers in the world, it unites cement plants, concrete production plants, reinforced concrete products and quarries for the extraction of nonmetallic materials.
