Ramco Cements has completed debottlenecking works at its integrated Jayanthipuram cement plant in Andhra Pradesh, increasing clinker capacity from 4.61 million tonnes per year (MTPA) to 5.62 MTPA and cement grinding capacity from 3.65 MTPA to 4.38 MTPA.
The project is part of the company’s expansion strategy aimed at increasing its total cement production capacity to 31.14 MTPA. Ramco Cements has set a capital expenditure guidance of ₹800 crore for FY27.
The company’s green energy share increased to 37 % of total energy consumption in Q1 FY27, compared with 31 % in the same period of the previous financial year.
