Renaatus to invest in Andhra Pradesh to make fibre cement boards

This will cater mainly to the construction sector in the southern States and the export market.

Renaatus Procon, a subsidiary of Renaatus Group, is investing 2 500 mil INR in the first phase in Andhra Pradesh to set up a plant for production of fibre cement boards.

R.P. Selva Sundaram, Chairman and Managing Director of the Group, told the media in Coimbatore on Thursday that the plant, which will be commissioned in 2026, will have a capacity to produce 60,000 tonnes of boards annually. This will cater mainly to the construction sector in the southern States and the export market.  

The Group will also invest approximately 3 000 mil INR in the next two to three years to expand its production of Renacon AAC blocks.  It is targeting total annual revenue of 30 000 – 40 000 mil INR by 2030 and nearly 13 000 mil INR of it will come from the Renacon products.
