Iraq inaugurated the VAN Cement Plant, launching what the company calls the country’s largest cement production line.
The Van Company for Industrial Investment and General Trading announced that the plant produces 7,000 tons of clinker daily. It manufactures various cement types, including sulfate-resistant (SRC), ordinary Portland (OPC), CEM II, oil well cement, and lightweight cement.
The company designed these products to meet rising demand from Iraq’s construction and infrastructure projects, as the country expands other facilities.
