An accelerated development of the cement industry in the former Soviet Union countries today and prospects of a larger growth in the near future require radical changes in technical equipment to be installed in the industry. This inevitably increases the interest of cement producers in products of the companies offering modern equipment and technology for all stages of cement production. Because of this, for convenience of our readers we open in the Cement and its Applications magazine a new column for placing the information directly pro- vided by such companies on their products grouped by process stages of a cement plant. In future this information will be issued as a separate publication as well as placed on the www.cemcom.ru site. In this issue of the magazine we call your attention to the first installment of this kind dedicated to Quarries.
