Removing aerosols from the air in cement pressure transport lines

The work examines the causes of unstable operation of the air cleaning units in cement pressure transporting. It has been shown that an increase of stability and efficiency of dust collecting in the air dedusting units can be achieved through a hydraulic balance of the unit elements, the use of special-design cyclones, as well as arranging a process of particles separation from the tows of dust and forming a layer of collected particles in the deduster. Operation of an industrial unit was examined and its dust collection efficiency was evaluated.
