Early hydration stages of refractory alumina cements

The article presents the findings of a study devoted to the hydration activity of the CaO-Al2O3 system minerals obtained by the
thermokinetic method.
It is shown that, at an early hydration stage, the basic hydroaluminate phases are formed - C2AH8, CAH10 and, in various quantities, C3AH6 and Al(OH)3
