Aluminum incorporated in calcium silicate hydrate (C—S—H) phases studied by solid-state NMR spectroscopy

The present research has contributed to an improved knowledge on the incorporation of Al in the C-S-H phase in cement hydration products.The manner in which chain lengths in the C-S-H phase depend on substitution rate of cement by metakao­lin has been determined. It has been shown that raise of alkali ions content in the system leads to increase of Al amount in the C-S-H phase.
