Cement industry in Portugal.

The corporate structure of the Portuguese cement industry is described. The data on the cost trends of construction work in Portugal, on the production and consumption of cement in the country, as well as on the export of cement and clinker. In recent years, up to 70% of the produced cement has been exported. All cement plants of the country use the latest technologies and constantly implement projects aimed at increasing production rate, efficiency and improving environmental performance. In 2014, CO2 emissions dropped by 27% compared to the 2005 level. The share of replacing conventional fuels and raw materials with their alternative types is growing.
