Influences of fly ash cement on properties of fresh cement paste and on cement’s interactions with superplasticizer
Rheological properties and the zeta potential of fresh fly ash cement paste based on cements containing siliceous fly ash were identified, and the ionic composition of the pore solution was analysed. Narrow particle size distribution and sintered agglomerates within fly ash affected the workability of fly ash cement paste more than the content of residual coke. Besides the chemical and mineralogical composition of fly ash its granulometrical properties are therefore also very important. Sorption and dispersing effect of superplasticizers based on polycarboxylate ethers was investigated.Author: J. Herrmann, J. Rickert |
